In addition to our usual categories, the 2020/21 programme sees the exciting introduction of our Community Heroes award. We are asking the general public to nominate unsung rural community stars who are the cornerstone of their local area and go above and beyond to help others every day.
Winners will be announced in each region of the UK (North, South East, South West, Midlands, Wales and NI and also the East) at our National Final in February 2021. Nominations can be submitted using the form below.
What does YOUR Community Hero look like?
Do you know someone who always go above and beyond? Through the current pandemic, but also before this too? Do you know a person who is constantly helping and caring for others in the community?

We are looking for wonderful people who stand out in our rural communities so that we can celebrate their hard work and award them as a Community Hero at our National Final in February 2021.
As we are the RURAL Business Awards, there does need to be a rural theme, link or location. The hero you nominate could be based in a town, but deliver to rural areas – just make sure you explain this in their nomination below.
Please note; to nominate an individual for Community Hero, they must be over the age of 16.
