We are thrilled to let you know that the eighth business involved in our 12 Gifts of Christmas campaign is PARC Y BOCS FARM SHOP & CAFE!
Parc Y Bocs Farm Shop started as an honest box with eggs that were not needed from the Burns dog food factory. It has since grown into a thriving farm shop, selling local produce and gifts, vegetables grown on-site, and of course, the eggs which began it all. Due to demand from customers, the shop has expanded by adding a cafe – a small kitchen and tables for customers to have hot drinks and cakes, as well as a free children’s playground. The business strives to give back to the community.
Parc Y Bocs has kindly donated a small basket of produce, all made in their local area. It includes honey, bonbons, Truffle Hunter oil, Hawkshead Relish, and a bottle of Tin Works’ Kidswelly pilsner.
‘We are more than happy to be part of this brilliant idea for Christmas, as Christmas is the time for kindness and sharing. Our gift is a collection of some very local produce which we strongly promote, to help grow new and small businesses in our area. We hope you find them as scrumptious as we did. Merry Christmas!’Parc Y Bocs Farm Shop
This makes the value of the hamper £263! The Rural Business Awards will match the overall value of the hamper as a donation to the public’s chosen charity. Follow the links to cast your vote in our Twitter or Facebook polls.
Remember, if you want to be entered in the prize draw to win the hamper, share and comment on one of our 12 Gifts of Christmas posts on social media before 5pm on 12th December 2018.
