Ingram Valley Farm work with many partners to deliver their values of improving farming in remote-rural communities, continuing to protect the landscape and operating a sustainable farming-system that can thrive in the many years ahead to create jobs, help the rural economy and meet consumer demand.

Northumbrian Flowers is contemporary artisan flower farm based in the heart of wild Northumberland. Run by Kate Norris and her husband Pete, they grow seasonal, sustainable and scented flowers as well as running gardening and growing workshops. Local florists and their community make up their client base. Located on the banks of the River North Tyne, a rural and beautiful location, they work in harmony with their stunning environment. Everything the business grows is carried out using sustainable and environmentally friendly practices. They have spent nearly a decade working their plot to create a unique rural customer centric flower farm.

Set in a 16th century barn, Owd Barn is home to a farm shop, gift shop, tea room and the Spud Shed retail barn. The Spud Shed is a mixture of high-spec retail units, bringing together a range of local businesses: including yoga, spa, physiotherapy, hairdressers, ladies and children’s clothing boutiques, a florist and web designer. The Owd Barn is a truly family affair with Brenda still looking after the farm shop and tea room she set up many years ago; Eric and his sons running the 200 acre farm; with their daughter, sister-in-law, nephew and nieces all also involved.

Westend Office Suites is a successful farm diversification ‘growing’ businesses in the countryside. They provide high quality semi-serviced offices to micro-businesses. Typically, customers are start-ups or growing new businesses taking on their first premises and employee(s). The office suites have been created from the refurbishment of existing farm buildings and the site has been designed to integrate micro-businesses into the countryside in a ‘farm’ setting. The Westend Office Suites site has enabled businesses to successfully start up and grow, has created local jobs and provides services to the local community.
