Firstly apologies for the lack of posts of the past month or so. To say we have been busy is a huge understatement. The team here is still working hard to deliver downloadable entry forms by 6pm on 1st April!

In summary this is what has happened over the past month:

– Response to The Rural Business Awards has been fantastic! We have made huge progress in obtaining sponsorship and speaking to our associated charities.

– By far the most challenging part of the awards is getting you all to enter! It seems that getting you all to blow your own trumpet is rather difficult. However, we have had some really great feedback in that for the mostpart people wanted a simpler entry process. So- we have responded and from 6pm on 1st April each category will have its own entry form, with online entries being taken from 10th April. You now have no excuses 🙂

– With the new entry process and the response to the awards, we decided to give it the venue it deserves. The ceremony will now take place at Stapleford Park on 1st October and we are thrilled to have secured such a beautiful venue that fits The Rural Business awards perfectly.

– As the ceremony is now taking place on 1st October, please check out www.ruralbusinessawards.co.uk  for the new timings in respect of Judging, Entry Close and Ticket release.
