National Winners & Finalists 2018/19
Congratulations to all our winners, runners up and finalists! Now that our national awards ceremony is over, we can officially reveal who our judges thought were the best and brightest rural businesses across the whole of the UK!
We hope that all of our national finalists enjoyed themselves at our celebration of everything that makes rural Britain unique. Whether or not they won, they should be incredibly proud of themselves and all they have achieved.

“We are overwhelmed by the success of our Rural Business Awards, which with support from Amazon, have done much to champion countryside-based firms across Britain. Huge congratulations to all those who have been successful in our national awards, following the tough regional heats.
Anna Price
Co-founder of The Rural Business Awards
“The Rural Business Awards shines a much-deserved spotlight on the innovators, creators and inventors in rural communities across the UK and it’s great to celebrate their successes at this year’s national final. The calibre of businesses entering this year’s awards has been higher than ever. I’d like to congratulate all the winners and nominees and wish them continued success for the future.”
Doug Gurr
UK Country Manager, Amazon.
“I am delighted that so many forward-thinking businesses have been honoured with these much-deserved awards. From regional start-ups to global logistics firms, it is essential that we recognise the vital role of these organisations in helping to deliver a thriving rural and national economy.”
Lord Gardiner
Rural Affairs Minister.

The Founders Award

Adventure Parc Snowdonia
North Wales
The Founders’ Award is new for the 2018/19 awards year, and is unique among our awards. Unlike the other thirteen categories, this award is not influenced by the judges scores. Instead, as the name suggests, it is the founders of the Rural Business Awards, Jemma Clifford and Anna Price, who select the recipient of the Founders’ Award.
Anna and Jemma discussed each of the national finalists at length, looking for innovative businesses who have a significant impact on their communities, environments, and the rural way of life.
The recipient of the 2018/19 Founders’ Award is Adventure Parc Snowdonia. They won due to their entrepreneurial spirit, the high numbers of job they have created, the economic and environmental impact the business has on its local area, and Adventure Parc Snowdonia’s community and charitable initiatives.
